Cinnamon and Spice...and everything nice! (We'll pretend it goes that way too!). These incredibly sweet and adorable girls are looking for a cozy forever home where they can cuddle up together and watch the snow fall through the window. These friendly kitties were rescued from a Tennessee kill shelter with their mama and other four siblings at just nine days old. Cinnamon and Spice have very opposite personalities but have a couple things in common - they are as sweet as sugar and LOVE curling up in your lap! Cinnamon is a very calm and quiet kitten and has an adorable personality. When she sees you, she will run over and paw at your leg to be picked up. She has a purr box with no "off switch" and is always in the middle of your business! She will jump on your arm and sit there, just looking at you with her gorgeous eyes. Spice, on the other hand, has a lot of energy and is a spunky little thing! She goes crazy over belly rubs and will kick with her back paws! She loves playing with cat toy feathers. Her expressions are hilarious, and she has very big saucer eyes. Her eyebrow whiskers are very obvious, giving her a funny look. She honestly looks like a cat from a cartoon! The sweetest girls, and they are certainly the perfect pair!
Spice and Cinnamon can't wait to meet their forever family! To apply to adopt, go here: https://www.faithfulpawsrescue.com/adoptable-cats.html. Both girls are spayed, up to date with all age-appropriate vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. For local families, there is no phone interview required. If your application is approved, then we can move forward with planning a visit. Once we receive your application, we will get back to you shortly! Cinnamon and Spice are looking forward to hearing from you!

Three adoptions this week... a cause for celebration! We are so thrilled for the kitties and their new families. Ginger was adopted a couple days ago, and Pumpkin and Clove were adopted together today! We are so happy that Pumpkin had her "happy ever after" and can now live the best life with one of her sweet babies! We are so blessed that these special girls found such amazing homes. Cinnamon and Spice are the only kitties available for adoption at this point! We think that it would be best to place them as a bonded pair, so preference will go to families that are interested in adopting them together. Both girls have such sweet personalities and are very gentle, calm and quiet kittens. To apply to adopt, go here: https://www.faithfulpawsrescue.com/adoptable-cats.html. Pumpkin and Clove's new mama colored some beautiful drawings for us! So sweet! Thank you Ava!! There has been no interest in sweet Pumpkin, and she is sad that her kittens are getting all the attention and she still hasn't found her "special someone!". It's heartbreaking, because when families come to visit with her babies, she will tap them with her paw, rub against their faces, and gaze at them as if asking "pick me!". She is really the sweetest girl. She talks with her beautiful, soulful eyes - you can just look at her, and she will run across the room and give you a kiss on your nose. To say she has the most amazing personality is an understatement - you'd have to meet her to truly understand. Pumpkin has been through a lot, including being dumped at a Tennessee kill shelter in her late pregnancy and being near death's door when her babies were only nine days old. She came to us severely emaciated, only 5lbs and a skeleton frame. She refused to eat and had to get IVs. But it didn't matter how weak she was at the time; she was the best possible mama to her babies and tried to feed them when she barely had any milk left. Through it all, Pumpkin has been so positive and sweet. Now, she is a chunky kitty and has gained 5lbs! She has had digestive issues in the past (loose stools) because she is sensitive to ingredients in canned food, so she is currently on a grain free raw food diet - Aunt Jeni's. She also has free choice grain free dry food, and she does fine with this. The raw food diet has been miraculous for her, and we haven't seen any digestive problems in a while! She is a super healthy girl. Pumpkin is amazing around children and is super interactive and friendly - in your lap purring, always! She also does well with our 8lb Shih Tzu and our other rescue kitties. She is dreaming of a cozy home where she can be spoiled and treated like a queen... she truly deserves the world!
Pumpkin was recently spayed and can leave for her new home in about a week after she has had time to fully recover from her surgery. She is spayed, tested neg. for FIV/FeLV, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines. If you are interested in offering this amazing girl a forever home, please fill out our adoption application. For local families, there is no phone interview required. If your application is approved, then we can move forward with planning a visit. Once we receive your application, we will get back to you shortly! Happy to say that the newest rescue, name still TBD, is doing pretty good! We are giving her a bath today since we let the Revolution stay on her for several days. No live fleas anymore and I think she's pretty relieved about that! We are still dealing with loose stools, but they are a bit more formed since her arrival. Her eyes are clearing up from the antibiotics, and she's looking better! Praying she's on the road to recovery. She's a strong little kitten! Enjoy these new photos of her... could she be any cuter?!
There's a new face around here! ❤ This beautiful and incredibly sweet girl was found in a dumpster in New York. A kind lady trapped her and brought her home. She couldn't keep her due to circumstances and posted her - and because it sounded like the kitty could have potential health issues, we worried about her ending up in the wrong hands. We brought her here, and she is not in the best shape! Covered in so many fleas and dirt that her skin is all cakey. She is also pretty malnourished, just skin and bones. We've heard some wheezing and sneezing, and she's had on and off eye issues. Her fecal test came back positive for roundworm unfortunately and she's had diarrhea. Poor thing has a lot going on! She's in a quarantine area away from everyone else of course (as all kitties we bring in) and we are being super careful. Her FIV/FeLV test was negative thankfully. We've seen huge improvements in a short period of time, especially with her eyes (see last pics!). She has a tremendous appetite and is SO sweet and friendly. She was clearly someone's pet before. She loves head rubs and her purr box just won't turn off! LOL. Once she is all better, we are hoping that Blackberry (aka Soot) will have a friend. We are still deciding on a name for her, but it will be perfect. :) More updates coming soon, and we are praying she has a speedy recovery and is healed. :) Evening of her arrival... not looking so good! She is doing a lot better now!
