The cats at Faithful Paws are raised and fostered in the heart of Hannah's home. They are heavily socialized by all members of the family, and by the time they are ready to leave for their new homes, they are the sweetest they can be! Please read our Adoption Terms & Conditions BEFORE applying. Note that we do NOT approve every home. We are very particular about where we place our cats and want forever families for all of them.

Faithful Paws, a Christ-centered cat rescue, is located in South Burlington, VT, just 10 minutes outside of Burlington and the University of Vermont. It is founded by Hannah Parker, an eighteen-year-old who loves all animals! She focuses on rescuing cats from desperate situations, and she mainly works with strays and also rescues from kill shelters. She has a special focus on kittens and nursing/pregnant cats. Kittens are typically the first to be euthanized in kill shelters; sadly, their cuteness isn't enough - shelters cannot find enough resources for them, including foster homes, as they require a lot of time, energy and expertise. Hannah has been passionate about animals since day one and has been involved in animal rescue since she was ten years old. She would always bring home injured wild rabbits and mice, and any stray wandering down the road would end up in her home... and her heart. Hannah rescued and fostered around 20 cats throughout her senior year, and still occasionally brings in rescues. She is also very passionate about photography with a focus on pet portraits. She loves capturing the unique features and personalities, and strongly believes that a photograph tells the pet's story and helps find them their forever family. God is the center of Faithful Paws, and without the Lord's blessing, this mission wouldn't be where it is.

All kitties receive important veterinary care prior to adoption, including spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, testing for FIV/FelV, a microchip, etc.
